These terms cover your use of FreeToolBank. Short version: the tools are free, use them sensibly, and check anything important, because we can’t guarantee the output is right.
Using the site
The tools here are free, including for commercial work. No account, no licence, no cap on how much you use them.
Whatever you put into a tool is yours, and so is whatever comes out. We claim no ownership of it. That’s easy for us to promise, since your content never reaches us in the first place.
No warranty
The site and its tools are provided “as is,” with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee that results are accurate or complete, that the site will stay available or error-free, or that any given tool will still exist next year.
Check anything that matters. These are utilities, not professional advice. If a number here feeds into a tax return, a legal filing, a financial decision, or a compliance obligation, verify it somewhere else and talk to someone qualified. A converter isn’t an accountant.
Compliance and accessibility tools
Our compliance and accessibility tools give indicative, educational results. They aren’t a compliance certificate and they aren’t legal advice.
Automated accessibility testing catches somewhere around 30 to 40% of real barriers. Passing an automated check doesn’t mean your site is accessible, and it doesn’t mean you’ve met whatever legal obligations apply to you. Real testing involves people, including people who use assistive technology. We’ll never tell you you’re “certified compliant,” because no automated tool is in a position to say that.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from relying on its output. That includes lost profits, lost data, business interruption, and indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing here limits liability that can’t legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Acceptable use
Don’t use this site to break the law or help anyone else do it. Don’t attack it, overload it, or try to get access you’re not meant to have. Don’t scrape it hard enough to degrade it for other people. Don’t republish our pages as your own or present the tools as your own service. Don’t remove or misrepresent notices on the site.
Since the tools run in your browser, we have no way to see what you process and no wish to. This section is about the site itself, not your data.
Intellectual property
The FreeToolBank name, the design, the writing, and the code behind the tools belong to us. Link to any page you like. Don’t copy the site and run it somewhere else.
Where a tool implements a public standard, algorithm, or formula, that method belongs to nobody. Our implementation is ours. The maths isn’t.
Changes
We may add, change, or withdraw tools, and we may change these terms. Published tool URLs are meant to be permanent. If one has to move, we’ll redirect it rather than break your bookmark.
Privacy
Covered on the privacy policy page. Short version: the tools run in your browser and your files aren’t uploaded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If you’re using the site as a consumer somewhere else, this doesn’t take away rights you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
