Mythic Calculator WoW

This Mythic Calculator WoW tool adds up your Mythic+ rating from your best timed key and clear time in each of the eight Midnight Season 2 dungeons, then lists the keys that reach your target rating fastest.

1. Your best key in each dungeon, Midnight Season 2

Leave the level empty for a dungeon you have not timed. Leave the time empty to count it as finished right on the timer.

An estimate from the formula the community tools agree on. Blizzard does not publish it, and dungeons and timers change every season. Checked against Midnight Season 2 on 14 October 2026.

Runs in your browser. Nothing uploaded.

This Mythic Calculator WoW tool works out your World of Warcraft Mythic+ rating for Midnight Season 2 from your best timed key and clear time in each of the eight dungeons. Then it does the part you actually want: it lists the timed keys that get you to Keystone Master, Hero, Legend or Myth in the fewest runs.

      About the Mythic Calculator WoW

Raider.IO and the in-game Group Finder already show your current score. What they don’t answer is the question you ask before you queue: which key should I run next? The Mythic Calculator WoW answers that for every dungeon at once.

      • This season’s pool. The eight Midnight Season 2 dungeons with their timers, so you don’t have to look them up.
      • Your real times. Enter each clear as minutes and seconds. The time bonus is worked from the timer you beat, not guessed.
      • Over time means zero. This season an over-time run gives no rating. The calculator says so in words, so a depleted key doesn’t quietly inflate your total.
      • Two options per dungeon. The same key faster, or one level higher on the timer, each with the rating it adds.
      • A route to your goal. The shortest list of timed keys from where you are to the rating you picked.

Everything runs in your browser. You don’t log in, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

How to use the Mythic Calculator WoW

      1. Enter your best key per dungeon. The highest keystone level you timed in each. Leave a dungeon’s level empty if you haven’t timed it yet.
      2. Add your clear times. Type them as 24:30. Leave a time empty and the run counts as finished right on the timer, with no bonus.
      3. Pick your target. 1,500, 2,000, 2,500, 3,000 or 3,600.
      4. Read the result. Your rating, the score of each dungeon, the best next run for each, and the route to your target.

Your in-game Mythic+ tab, or the Raider.IO page for your character, shows your best run in each dungeon. Copy those in and the Mythic Calculator WoW should land within a point or two of what the game shows.

Midnight Season 2 dungeons and timers

Four dungeons are from Midnight itself and four come back from older expansions. These are the timers the calculator uses:

Dungeon Timer Finish by, for the full bonus
      Altar of Fangs 30:00 18:00
      Murder Row 34:00 20:24
      Den of Nalorakk 32:00 19:12
      The Blinding Vale 31:00 18:36
      Voidscar Arena 30:00 18:00
      Kings’ Rest 33:00 19:48
      Temple of Sethraliss 33:00 19:48
      Ruby Life Pools 28:00 16:48

The timers were published from the test realm before the season started, and Blizzard sometimes adjusts one in a hotfix. If a timer in game differs from the one here, your time bonus in that dungeon will be off by a point or so. The total stays close.

      How Mythic+ rating is calculated

Blizzard doesn’t publish the formula. The rating tools that people trust have converged on the same one, and it matches in-game scores closely. It has two parts.

The base score for a timed key

      • A timed +2 scores 155.
      • Each level above +2 adds 15.
      • Each affix level you reach adds another 15: +5, +7, +10 and +12.

      So a +4 is 185, a +5 jumps to 215, a +10 is 320 and a +12 is 365. The jumps at affix levels are why a +7 is worth 30 more than a +6, not 15.

      The time bonus

Finishing early adds up to 15 points. The bonus is 37.5 times the share of the timer you saved, capped at 40%. Beat a 30:00 timer by 20% (finish in 24:00) and you get 7.5. Finish in 18:00 or less and you get the full 15. Going faster than 40% under adds nothing more.

      Over time and your total

An over-time run gives no rating this season. Your rating is the score of your best timed run in each of the eight dungeons, added up. There’s no separate weighting for Fortified and Tyrannical weeks; your one best run per dungeon counts.

      A worked example

This is the character the Mythic Calculator WoW loads with:

      Dungeon Key Time Score
      Altar of Fangs +10 26:40 of 30:00 324.2
      Murder Row +9 30:00 of 34:00 294.4
Den of Nalorakk +10 33:10 of 32:00, over time 0.0
The Blinding Vale +8 on the timer 275.0
      Voidscar Arena +10 21:00 of 30:00 331.3
      Kings’ Rest +7 31:00 of 33:00 262.3
Temple of Sethraliss – not done 0.0
      Ruby Life Pools +11 27:59 of 28:00 335.0
      1. Altar of Fangs +10. Base 320. Saved 3:20 of 30:00, which is 11.1%. Bonus 37.5 × 0.111 = 4.2. Score 324.2.
      2. Voidscar Arena +10. Base 320. Saved 9:00 of 30:00, which is 30%. Bonus 37.5 × 0.30 = 11.25. Score 331.3.
      3. Den of Nalorakk +10. 70 seconds over. Score 0.
      4. Total. The eight scores add up to 1,822.1, which is 177.9 short of Keystone Master at 2,000.

The fastest route to 2,000 isn’t another +11. It’s timing the Den of Nalorakk +10 you just missed (320 points) and then any +2 in Temple of Sethraliss (155). Two keys, and you’re at 2,297. That’s the point of the calculator: the biggest gains are almost always in the dungeons that score zero.

Set the target to 2,500 and the Mythic Calculator WoW lists 12 timed keys, ending at 2,517.7.

Rating with all eight dungeons at the same level

The quickest way to see what a milestone needs. “On the timer” means no time bonus; “40% faster” means the full 15 in every dungeon.

All eight timed at Score per dungeon Rating, on the timer Rating, 40% faster
      +2 155 1,240 1,360
      +4 185 1,480 1,600
      +5 215 1,720 1,840
      +7 260 2,080 2,200
      +9 290 2,320 2,440
      +10 320 2,560 2,680
      +12 365 2,920 3,040
      +13 380 3,040 3,160
      +15 410 3,280 3,400
      +17 440 3,520 3,640
      +18 455 3,640 3,760

      What each milestone needs

      Milestone Rating Simplest way there
Keystone Conqueror 1,500 Eight timed +5s (1,720). Eight +4s on the timer make 1,480, just short.
      Keystone Master 2,000 Eight timed +7s (2,080).
Keystone Hero 2,500 Eight timed +10s (2,560). Eight +9s, even at full bonus, reach only 2,440.
Keystone Legend 3,000 Eight timed +13s (3,040), or eight +12s each about 27% under the timer.
Keystone Myth 3,600 Eight timed +18s (3,640), or +17s with about 10 bonus points each.

Keystone Myth is 3,600 this season. A few rating calculators still show 3,400, which was the line last season. If a tool tells you you’re at Myth with 3,450, check which season it was built for.

Push a level or run it faster?

One level higher is worth 15 points, or 30 at +5, +7, +10 and +12. The whole time bonus is worth 15, and getting the last few points of it means finishing 40% under the timer, which is a very fast run.

Here’s what a 10-point time bonus costs you. On a 30:00 timer you’d have to finish in 22:00, more than a quarter under. Timing one level higher, even with seconds to spare, gives 15 for certain. So the general rule is to push levels, and to rerun a key faster only when:

      • you timed it with almost nothing to spare and the dungeon suits your group, or
      • the next level up is an affix level your group isn’t ready for.

The Mythic Calculator WoW shows both options for every dungeon in the “Your next run” column, with the points each one adds, so you can see the trade before you queue.

The time you need for a score

Turn the bonus around and you get the finish time a score needs. Every 1 point of bonus takes 2.67% off the timer. On a 30:00 timer:

Bonus wanted Share of the timer saved Finish by, on 30:00
      2.5 6.7% 28:00
      5 13.3% 26:00
      7.5 20% 24:00
      10 26.7% 22:00
      15 40% 18:00

So a +7 scoring 270 on Altar of Fangs means finishing by 22:00. Anything more than 15 above a level’s base can’t be reached at that level at all; you need the next key. The Mythic Calculator WoW does this sum for each dungeon’s own timer in the “Your next run” column.

      Affixes by key level

Key level Affixes added Rating bonus
      +5 Xal’atath’s Bargain +15
+7 Fortified or Tyrannical, depending on the week +15
+10 Fortified and Tyrannical together +15
      +12 Xal’atath’s Guile +15

The extra 15 at each step is there because the key gets harder in a way that one more level of health and damage doesn’t capture. It’s also why +10 and +12 are the walls most groups notice.

      Common mistakes when planning rating

      • Counting a depleted key. An over-time run this season gives nothing. If your guildie’s addon shows a score for it, the addon is using old rules.
      • Ignoring the dungeon you hate. A dungeon with no timed run is worth 0. A single +2 there adds 155, more than ten pushes elsewhere.
      • Chasing the time bonus. Rerunning a +10 to go from 2 bonus points to 12 takes a run 32% faster than before. Timing the +11 adds 15 with any time under the clock.
      • Using last season’s milestones. Myth moved to 3,600.
      • Forgetting the timer differs by dungeon. 25:00 on Ruby Life Pools is 10.7% under; the same 25:00 on Murder Row is 26.5% under.

How the Mythic Calculator WoW works

For each dungeon the calculator takes your key level and time, checks the time against that dungeon’s timer, and applies the base score and time bonus above. A blank time is treated as exactly on the timer, which is the cautious choice.

The route adds one timed key at a time. At each step it picks the run that adds the most rating, assuming no time bonus, and on a tie it picks the lower key because that’s the easier run. A dungeon you haven’t timed starts at +2. It stops when it reaches your target. It isn’t the only route there, but it’s a short one and every step on it is a run you can do.

Copy result gives you the whole breakdown as text for Discord or your guild notes. You can also download it or save it as a PDF from the buttons under the tool.

      When the season changes

Each new season brings a new dungeon pool, new timers and sometimes new milestone numbers. Your rating resets to zero and every dungeon starts unscored. The formula itself has stayed the same across recent seasons, so the method on this page should carry over even when the dungeon list doesn’t.

When the pool changes, the Mythic Calculator WoW gets the new dungeons and timers, and this page gets a new “checked” date at the top of the tool’s note. If the dungeon names in the tool don’t match the ones in your Group Finder, the page is out of date, and the totals will still be right but the time bonus may not be.

      Limits

      • The formula is the community’s, not Blizzard’s. It agrees with in-game scores to within a point or so, but treat any result as an estimate.
      • Dungeons, timers and milestones change every season. This page was checked against Midnight Season 2 on 14 October 2026, and we’ll update the Mythic Calculator WoW when the next season’s pool is announced.
      • It doesn’t fetch your character. Type your best runs in from the game or from Raider.IO.
      • It covers Mythic+ rating only, not item level, Great Vault rewards or Raider.IO’s own score.

Also handy for planning nights: the Discord timestamp generator puts the key time in everyone’s own time zone, and the time zone converter helps when your group spans continents. For other games, there’s the OSRS dry calculator and the Construction Calculator OSRS.

      Frequently asked questions

      How is Mythic+ rating calculated?

Each dungeon scores your best timed run: 155 for a +2, 15 more for each level above that, and 15 more at each of +5, +7, +10 and +12. Finishing early adds up to 15, with the full 15 at 40% under the timer. Your rating is the eight dungeon scores added up.

What rating do eight +12 keys give?

A timed +12 scores 365 with no time bonus, so eight of them come to 2,920. Beat each timer by 40% and it is 3,040.

Does a key that goes over time give rating?

No. This season a dungeon has to be completed within the time limit to give Mythic+ rating, so an over-time run adds nothing, and that dungeon keeps its best timed score.

What are the Midnight Season 2 rating milestones?

Keystone Conqueror at 1,500, Keystone Master at 2,000, Keystone Hero at 2,500, Keystone Legend at 3,000 and Keystone Myth at 3,600. Several older calculators still show 3,400 for Myth, which was last season's number.

How much does finishing faster add?

At most 15 per dungeon. The bonus is 37.5 times the share of the timer you saved, so 20% under the timer adds 7.5 and anything from 40% under adds the full 15. One more key level is worth 15 to 30, so pushing higher usually pays more.

Is this the official Blizzard formula?

Blizzard does not publish the formula. This Mythic Calculator WoW uses the one the community rating tools agree on, which matches in-game scores closely. Treat the result as an estimate.
